　　Set amid the wild beauty of the Northumberland landscape, DCI Vera Stanhope investigates chilling crimes only she can solve. The shambolic but perceptive detective does not make friends easily. 　　BBC One过去宣布预订Tana French所著小说改篇的8集罪案剧《The Dublin Murders》，被改篇的是《In The Woods》及《The Likeness》，这剧在Belfast及Dublin（北爱尔兰及爱尔兰）拍摄。
　　主角是Dublin警察的警探Rob Ryan及Cassie Maddox（由 Killian Scott及Sarah Greene饰演），《In The Woods》调查的是一个12岁女孩的谋杀案﹑《The Likeness》讲述一个女警探到精英大学社区卧底以调查一宗谋杀案。
