　　由萩原天晴漫画原作改编，故事讲述主角饴谷甘太朗在出版社当营业员，工作完美为人可靠得到大家的信赖，作为独身眼镜帅哥的他实际上有着「工作时躲懒去吃甜点」的秘密，会去老牌甜点店以至知名的新店。

　　Sarah Braverman是一个饱受经济困扰的单身母亲，从加利福尼亚Fresno的租赁公寓打包，与两个孩子Amber和Drew 回到Berkeley，她的娘家。而她的父母，任性的老爸Zeek和强硬派老妈Camille的婚姻也出现了一系列问题。与此同时，Sarah的老姐，和她迥然不同的Julia如今已经成为一名非常成功的律师，却还是要为工作、母职、呆在家里的老公 Joel烦恼。而她的大哥Adam、小弟Crosby也都有各自的问题和烦恼。
