　　浮島多恵、飯山由愛、安藤日和三人是公司的前台接待，她们的人生理想是“嫁个高收入老公，做全职太太，从此走向幸福生活”。多恵为了实现自己的理想，讨好男友，在男友面前尽力装成听话的小猫，却发觉自己的内心越来越焦虑。某天她遇到了以前结婚退职的前辈南場麗華，在这位前辈的指引下，她发觉了一个可以用贷款买男友，来排解压力的“新世界”……

　　故事讲述洛杉矶出现了神秘巨大天坑，一个家庭也由此被一分为二，母亲&儿子与父亲&女儿被迫分离。当一部分家庭发现自己和一群形形色色的陌生人一起身处在一个无法解释的原始世界时，他们必须努力求生，并揭开自己身处何处、是否有回家的路的谜团。冈萨雷斯将饰演一名空军飞行员，他被招募来领导拯救落入天坑的人的任务。
