　　科幻系列小说《真理之剑》（The Sword of Truth）曾经创下了全美销售量的白金记录，而由该系列的第一部《巫师第一守则》（Wizard's First Rule）改编的电视剧《探索者传说》（Legend of the Seeker）一经播出引起强烈的反响。该剧将在《指环王》三部曲拍摄的地点新西兰取景，讲述了男主角探索自身魔法力量的神秘之旅，并阻止残暴的统治者罪恶行径的故事。与之同行的还有美丽的女子凯兰和年迈的巫师佐德。该剧投资巨大，魔幻场景堪称历年罕见。该剧将于11月8日在美国联合有线电视网播出第二季。
　　第二季的情节将紧接第一季结尾展开，这一次主人公理查德将面对「巫师第二守则」的挑战。理查德是拉哈家族的直系后代，暗王拉哈同父异母的兄弟。他的这一身份将为他今后的冒险带来很多不确定因素。痛苦使者卡拉成为理查德、凯兰、佐德团队中的第四人，她的到来将「搅动」理查德和凯兰之间的关系。

　　剧集故事以位于苏格兰海岸外北海危险海域的Kishorn Bravo石油钻井平台为背景，当船员们即将返回大陆时，一场神秘的、全方位的大雾席卷而来，他们发现自己与岸边和外界的所有联系都被切断了。当钻井平台受到巨大的震动时，船员们努力探索是什么在驱动着这股未知的力量，但一场重大的事故迫使他们对自己真正能信任的人产生了疑问。

　　Filming has begun on the fourth series of popular Bath-based detective drama McDonald & Dodds, starring Tala Gouveia and BAFTA award-winner Jason Watkins.
　　
　　Comprising three feature length films (3 x120), the guest cast for the first story includes Toby Stephens (Lost In Space), singer/songwriter Pixie Lott (The Voice Kids), Lydia Leonard (Gentleman Jack), Daniel Lapaine (Catastrophe), Dipo Ola (Landscapers), John Gordon Sinclair (Gregory’s Girl) and Ace Bhatti (Line of Duty).
　　
　　In this first film, McDonald and Dodds begin to investigate when a middle-aged woman is found shot dead in a rented flat. The killer has removed all clues to her identity, but DNA reveals she went missing over 35 years ago. Where has she been all those years? And who with?
　　
　　Returning to the cast this series are Claire Skinner (Outnumbered) who plays Chief Superintendent Ormond and Charlie Chambers (EastEnders) who plays DC Goldie. Bhavik C. Pankhania (World On Fire) joins the line up as DC Lee.
　　
　　The series has been commissioned for ITV by Polly Hill and Huw Kennair Jones and will be produced by Joe Shrubb. Executive producers are Robert Murphy, Damien Timmer and Charlotte Webber. The first film is written by Robert Murphy and directed by Khurrum M. Sultan.

　　The previous three series are available to view via streaming platforms ITVX in the UK and Britbox in North America and Australia. ITV Studios will distribute the drama internationally.

　　现确定Starz拿下这部剧集，由Chris Collins负责执笔﹑Chad Stahelski执导首集；至于电影主演Keanu Reeves自然不可能来当主演，不过电视台表示他会在剧中露一下面。

　　古古·姆巴塔-劳将主演Apple TV+心理惊悚题材新剧《浮出水面》(Surface，暂译)。维罗妮卡·韦斯特(《失恋排行榜》)担任创剧人及编剧。详细剧情暂未知。该剧共8集，将于明年开拍。
